Find it in SharePoint without opening SharePoint
Ask in a Slack thread. Kipwise Agent searches the SharePoint sites you can open, reads the file and answers with the link. For the how-tos and decisions, it writes Kipwise pages from the thread.

Why teams look past SharePoint
“Our company transitioned to sharepoint years ago but the struggle to find information is SO REAL.”
With KipwiseAsk in Slack. The agent searches the SharePoint sites you can open and answers with the file and its folder.
“200 disconnected sites later the whole company is bookmarking things to survive.”
With KipwiseSkip the bookmarks. One question in Slack searches across every site you have access to.
“The problem is that the friction of using them is so high that nobody really does”
With KipwiseHow-tos and decisions go into Kipwise pages the agent writes from your Slack threads, so writing it down takes one line.
“The permission system can be a nightmare to get right.”
With KipwiseThe agent changes nothing in SharePoint. It reads only what each person can already open.
Keep SharePoint, or leave it
Most teams keep the files where they are and move the know-how.
Keep SharePoint
Ask it from Slack
Connect your work Microsoft account and the agent searches SharePoint and your Teams channel files, lists folders and reads files, read-only, with your own access. Some organisations need an admin to approve it first.
Move the wiki part
Let the agent write your pages
Keep files in SharePoint and move the how-tos, policies and decisions to Kipwise pages the agent writes from your threads.
SharePoint vs Kipwise
SharePoint stores files and runs intranet sites. Kipwise answers and writes in your Slack threads.
| SharePoint | Kipwise | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Files, sites and intranets on Microsoft 365 | Answers and write-ups in your Slack threads |
| Finding a file | Search sites and libraries | Ask in Slack; it searches the sites you can open and links the file |
| Changing files | Full document management | Reads SharePoint; doesn’t change files there |
| Team know-how | Pages and lists you build and maintain | Pages the agent drafts from threads, with your name on them |
| Who sees what | Site and library permissions | Your own Microsoft access, nothing more |
| Beyond docs | Copilot and Power Automate, inside Microsoft 365 | Updates the deal, files the issue or drafts the email from Slack, after you approve |
Competitor details from their own sites and public reviews, read October 2026.

Questions
Can it edit SharePoint files?
No. In SharePoint it searches, lists sites and folders, and reads files. It doesn’t change them. What it writes goes to Kipwise pages.
Can it read Teams chats?
No. It can read the files in your Teams channels, because those live in the team’s SharePoint site, but not chats or channel messages.
Do we need admin approval?
Sometimes. SharePoint needs a work or school Microsoft account, and some organisations only let an admin approve a new app. If you see “Need admin approval”, ask your admin.
What does it cost?
$10 per user a month, for at least 3 users. That includes $5 of AI credit per person and $2 per person of shared team credit every month. Add it to Slack and the free trial starts on your first message, no card needed.
Can it change things without asking?
No. Before it edits a page, updates a record or posts a message, it shows an Approve or Deny card in the thread. Only the person who asked can approve it, and the card expires after 30 minutes.
Does it work in Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The same agent runs in Microsoft Teams, with the same tools and approvals. If your team works in Teams, book a demo and we’ll set it up with you.
