Lindy alternative for Slack
A Lindy alternative that asks before it acts
Lindy’s reviewers write about credits that vanish and changes nobody told them about. Kipwise Agent checks your balance before every call, stops at zero with a top-up link, and shows an Approve card before it changes anything.
7-day trial on install. No card needed.
@Kipwise move this week’s Northwind emails into a Northwind label
I found 6 emails from Northwind this week. I’ll add the label to them. Nothing changes until you approve.

Add the label “Northwind” to 6 emails in Gmail?
✓ Approved by Tobias LindDone. The 6 emails now carry the label Northwind. Nothing was archived or hidden.
@Kipwise how much of my AI credit is left this month?
$3.80 of your $5 is left this month, and the team has $11 of shared credit. At zero I stop and send a top-up link.

The same job, with the credit and the change in plain sight
Left, two things Lindy’s users report. Right, how Kipwise Agent handles a request to tidy email.
Where it hurts today
“I managed to kill my months credits (3000) in one day!”Trustpilot, August 2026
“It auto-moved all email invitations and meeting discussions to a hidden folder, and then didn't update or tell me about it.”Trustpilot, May 2026

What Lindy’s users say about credits, cancelling and surprises
“Somehow magically they decided to charge me 550 USD for using 44,000 credits. Whilst my monthly subscription is only 25 USD per month.”
With KipwiseA bill after the fact cannot happen. Every request and every further model call checks the balance first, and at zero the agent stops and sends a top-up link.
“I tried to cancel my Lindy.AI subscription and there was no cancel button available in the billing settings.”
With KipwiseCancelling is self-serve in the Billing Portal and takes effect at the end of the period, monthly or annual.
“It auto-moved all email invitations and meeting discussions to a hidden folder, and then didn't update or tell me about it.”
With KipwiseEvery change to Gmail, including a label, an archive or the trash, waits for an Approve or Deny card that only the person who asked can press.
“I signed up for the free trial and cancelled within the time limit. I was then charged four months on the bounce - emailing them is a dead end as all you get is pre-prepared responses.”
With KipwiseThe install trial needs no card. A person reads support@kipwise.com and the support site.
What changes when you switch
Same place to work, a different way to pay and a different gate on writes.
Credit
Checked before every call
Each paid user brings $5 of credit a month, plus $2 of shared team credit. The balance is checked before every request and every further model call. Top-ups are $1 a credit, from 20 to 5,000 credits, and do not expire.
Writes
Approve before anything changes
Edits, records, labels and messages show a card in the thread first. An admin can switch whole services, or single tools, off.
Price
A seat price you can read
$10 per user a month, at least 3 users, so $30 for a team of three. Cancel in the Billing Portal.

What to ask it first
@Kipwise how much of my AI credit is left this month?
It tells you how much credit is left, and a team admin can ask for usage by person and day.
@Kipwise label the Northwind emails from this week
It shows an Approve card first. Nothing changes until you press it.
@Kipwise every Monday at 9, post the unread mail from customers here
It asks once when you create it, then runs on schedule and posts the list in this channel.
@Kipwise what happened on the last run?
It reads the run history, including failures, and tells you in words.
Questions
Is Kipwise cheaper than Lindy AI?
It depends on team size and use. Kipwise is $10 per user a month, at least 3 users, so $30 for three people and $100 for ten. Lindy’s Team plan starts at $29.99 a month for 3,000 pooled credits. Credits are not comparable: a Kipwise credit is $1 of model cost with no markup. We have not run the same work on both.
Can it run up a bill I did not expect?
No. The balance is checked before every request and every further model call, and at zero the agent stops with a top-up link. Credit is bought only when a person chooses to.
How do I try it?
Install it and the trial starts on your first message: $2 of credit for 7 days, no card. A workspace on a paid Slack plan with at least three people gets $10 of credit for 14 days. After that it is $10 per user a month.
Is there a wider comparison?
Yes: the best AI coworkers for Slack, with prices and when to pick each.
What does it cost?
$10 per user a month, for at least 3 users. That includes $5 of AI credit per person and $2 per person of shared team credit every month. Add it to Slack and the free trial starts on your first message, no card needed.
Can it change things without asking?
No. Before it edits a page, updates a record or posts a message, it shows an Approve or Deny card in the thread. Only the person who asked can approve it, and the card expires after 30 minutes. A denied or expired card runs nothing.
Does it work in Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The same agent runs in Microsoft Teams, with the same tools, approvals, memory and scheduled tasks.
