Tettra alternative for teams on Slack

Answers in Slack, and the next step too

Kipwise Agent answers in the thread from your pages and writes up what the team decides. Then it follows up, updates the record or drafts the email, as the person who asked.

Free to try in Slack. No card needed.

Why teams look past Tettra

  1. “I've recently switched from Tettra to Coda.io because Tettra now requires a minimum of 10 licenses.”

With KipwiseTeams of three can start. $10 per user a month, for at least 3 users.

  2. “We use Tettra, there was a cool teams integration but it seems to be gone in new teams.”

With KipwiseThe same agent runs in Slack and Microsoft Teams, with the same tools and approvals.

  3. “…collaboration on tettra pages is difficult.”

With KipwiseAnyone can ask the agent to add to a page from the thread, and their name goes on the edit.

What changes when you switch

The Slack-first wiki stays. The agent adds the work that comes after the answer.

Answers

From your pages and your tools

It answers from Kipwise pages, and from Notion, Confluence, your CRM or Linear when you connect them, each with your own access.

Writing

Threads written up when you ask

Ask it to write up a thread and it drafts the page in the folder you name, or adds to the page that already covers it.

Work

It does the next step

Follow-ups, status updates, record changes and email drafts, in the same thread, after you approve.

Tettra vs Kipwise

Tettra is a wiki that answers questions in Slack. Kipwise is an AI teammate that also does the work after the answer.

What to ask it first

  • @Kipwise what's our discount rule for two-year renewals?

It answers from the page, with the link.

  • @Kipwise draft the quote email to Acme with that rule

It writes the draft in your Gmail Drafts. Nothing sends until you approve.

  • @Kipwise write this decision up in Sales

It drafts the page from the thread and posts the link.

  • @Kipwise every Monday, post the deals closing this month

It reads your CRM each Monday and posts the list in this channel.

One agent, four parts

Your knowledge base, support desk, request desk and tasks, run by one agent

Install the agent and you get all four. It answers from your pages, speaks to your customers, takes requests from your team and works your task boards, in the threads where your team already is.

01

Knowledge base

Ask in a thread and get the answer from your team’s pages, with the page it came from. Ask it to write the resolution down, approve the change, and the next question is answered faster. It only reads pages the asker can see.

02

Customer support

A chat widget on your site answers from your public help center and hands the conversation to a person when asked. It lands in Slack with a draft reply, and nothing a customer can see goes out until you approve it.

03

Internal requests

Employees ask for IT, HR or ops help in Slack, confirm in plain words, and get a request they can follow. The channel only sees a neutral line, and nobody needs a seat to ask.

Tasks

Boards the agent works. A card can run on a schedule or when something happens, stops at an approval step before it writes, and counts against a monthly budget.

Questions

What happens to our Tettra pages?

Most teams move only the Tettra pages they still use; book a demo and we’ll talk it through. New pages get written from your Slack threads from the first day.

Who can see what?

The agent works as the person asking. It opens only the pages, files and records that person can open, in Kipwise and in the tools they connect with their own account.

What does it cost?

$10 per user a month, for at least 3 users. That includes $5 of AI credit per person and $2 per person of shared team credit every month. Add it to Slack and the free trial starts on your first message, no card needed.

Can it change things without asking?

No. Before it edits a page, updates a record or posts a message, it shows an Approve or Deny card in the thread. Only the person who asked can approve it, and the card expires after 30 minutes.

Does it work in Microsoft Teams?

Yes. The same agent runs in Microsoft Teams, with the same tools, approvals, memory and scheduled tasks.
