Stripe in Slack

A Stripe Slack integration with an Approve card on every change

Ask who paid and what is active, and refund or pause when you decide to. Kipwise Agent uses your own Stripe access, and a wrong refund never happens without your press.

7-day trial on install. No card needed.

How Stripe works in Slack

Ask, approve, done.

Ask

In plain words

“Did Acme pay?” or “refund Acme’s last payment.” The agent finds the record and links the Stripe page.

Connect

Once, with your own Stripe login

The agent posts a private link the first time. It uses the account you connected.

Approve

A sentence, not a form

A refund, an invoice or a subscription change shows one plain sentence, like “Refund $49.00 to Acme Corp?”.

Read

Who paid, what is active

Customers, payments, invoices, subscriptions, products, coupons and payouts, with the dashboard page linked next to each figure.

Sample data

Change

Pause or resume, after you approve

Refund, send an invoice, apply a coupon, pause or resume a subscription. Cancelling, voiding or deleting is not done in Slack: the agent gives you the dashboard link.

Events

Tell me when a payment fails

Say it once and the agent posts when a payment comes in or fails, a dispute opens, an invoice is paid or a subscription starts or ends. It reads the record in Stripe first.

Sample data

What to ask it first

  • @Kipwise did Acme pay?

It finds the customer and their last payments, and links the Stripe page.

  • @Kipwise refund Acme's last payment

It shows “Refund $49.00 to Acme Corp?” on an Approve card first.

  • @Kipwise how many active subscriptions?

It reads them from Stripe and shows the date range.

  • @Kipwise when a payment fails, tell me here

It asks once, then posts each time it happens.

Connecting Stripe

Once, per person
When a request needs Stripe, the agent posts a private link. Only the person who asked can complete it, with their own Stripe login. Nobody shares a token.
What it can do
Read the account, customers, payments, invoices, subscriptions, coupons and promo codes. Create and update customers, products, prices, coupons and invoices, send invoices, change, pause and resume subscriptions, refund, and make payment links.
What it does not do
Deletes, cancels and voids stay in the Stripe dashboard. The agent hands you the link.
Disconnect
Ask the agent to “disconnect my Stripe”. It deletes the access it stored and revokes it at Stripe.
Admin control
A workspace admin can switch Stripe lookups or changes, or a single tool, off.

Questions

Can it refund without asking?

No. A refund shows one plain sentence with the amount and the customer, and only the person who asked can approve it.

Which account does it use?

The Stripe account you connected, with your own access. The agent shows which account it is using.

Can it cancel a subscription?

Not in Slack. It pauses and resumes, and for a cancellation it gives you the dashboard link.

What does it cost?

$10 per user a month, for at least 3 users. That includes $5 of AI credit per person and $2 per person of shared team credit every month. Add it to Slack and the free trial starts on your first message, no card needed.

Can it change things without asking?

No. Before it edits a page, updates a record or posts a message, it shows an Approve or Deny card in the thread. Only the person who asked can approve it, and the card expires after 30 minutes. A denied or expired card runs nothing.

Can an admin switch it off?

Yes. A workspace admin can switch a whole service, or a single tool, off, so a listed ability may be off in your workspace.

Does it work in Microsoft Teams?

Yes. The same agent runs in Microsoft Teams, with the same tools, approvals, memory and scheduled tasks.

Ask for it in the thread

Add it to Slack, connect once, and ask.
