Kipwise Agent in ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT who owes you money. Kipwise Agent checks Xero, reads what the customer said in Gmail, and saves a polite reminder in your drafts. You send it when you're happy with it.

What it does

Overdue invoices

Ask which invoices are overdue. Kipwise Agent shows who owes what, the currency, how many days late, and a link to each invoice in Xero.

Customer emails

Ask whether a customer has been in touch. Kipwise Agent looks through your Gmail for emails you exchanged with that customer and shows what they said, with links.

Reminder drafts

Ask for a payment reminder. Kipwise Agent saves one reminder in your Gmail drafts, listing each overdue invoice and the total. You read it, change anything you like, and send it yourself.

How to connect

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and add Kipwise Agent.
  2. Sign in with the Slack account you use with Kipwise Agent.
  3. If Xero or Gmail isn't connected, follow the link Kipwise Agent gives you.

Good to know

  • Kipwise Agent never sends email. Reminders are saved as drafts for you to review and send.
  • It does not take payments, move money or change your invoices.
  • It only uses the Xero organisation and the Gmail account you connected yourself.
  • Amounts come from Xero at the moment you ask, so a payment Xero has not recorded yet still shows as unpaid.
  • Amounts in different currencies are never added together.

Before you start

Kipwise Agent must be added to your Slack workspace first. Read about Kipwise Agent.

Disconnect

In ChatGPT: Settings > Apps/Plugins > Kipwise Agent > Disconnect. Removing Kipwise Agent from Slack also ends ChatGPT access. To remove Xero or Gmail access, ask Kipwise Agent in Slack, e.g. "disconnect my Gmail", or revoke it at Xero/Google.
