TikTok + Kipwise Agent
Post videos and photos to your team’s TikTok and see how they perform, from Slack or Microsoft Teams. Every post waits for your approval.
Ask in Slack, post on TikTok
Connect one TikTok account to a channel, and everyone in that channel works through it. Ask in Slack or Microsoft Teams, in plain words.
- See the account’s followers, likes and videos.
- List the latest videos with their views, likes, comments and shares, or read any one of them.
- Get a performance report for a recent period: totals, averages, engagement rate and the top videos.
- Post a video from the Slack thread or from a link. You choose who can see it, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are on, and whether it promotes your brand or is a paid partnership.
- Post a photo carousel of up to 35 photos, including pictures the agent made.
- Send a video or photos to your TikTok inbox as a draft, and finish it in the TikTok app.
- Check whether a post has finished processing.
- See TikTok ad results (spend, impressions, clicks and conversions) by connecting “TikTok for Business (Ads)” from the agent’s app catalog.
Nothing posts without your approval
Every post shows an approval card first. It lists the account, the full caption, every file, who can see it, the interaction settings, and TikTok’s music usage confirmation. Nothing is posted until you press Approve.
What it does not do
- Edit or delete TikTok posts. Do that in the TikTok app.
- Read comments or direct messages.
Ask in your own words
- “How did our TikTok do last week?”
- “Which of our latest videos got the most views?”
- “Post this video to TikTok, visible to followers only.”
- “Turn these five photos into a TikTok carousel.”
- “Send this clip to our TikTok inbox as a draft.”
Set up in 2 steps
- Mention @Kipwise in Slack and ask about TikTok.
- Press Connect and log in to the TikTok account your channel will use.
FAQs
Approvals, access and numbers for the TikTok connection.
Does it post without asking?
No. Every post shows an approval card first, and nothing is posted until you press Approve.
Who can connect TikTok?
Any member of your team can connect a TikTok account to a channel; guests from other companies cannot. The account is then shared by that channel, so everyone in the channel works through it.
What numbers does it show?
Each video’s views, likes, comments and shares so far, and the account’s followers and likes. It does not show day-by-day history.
Can it post publicly today?
TikTok is reviewing Kipwise Agent. Until TikTok approves it, connecting is limited to accounts TikTok has approved for testing, and posts stay private.
Can it show my TikTok ad results?
Yes. Connect TikTok for Business (Ads) from the agent’s app catalog and it shows spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. It uses your own TikTok for Business login.
