Sub-processors

Kipwise Inc. uses the service providers below to run Kipwise, the Kipwise Wiki app for Slack and Kipwise Agent. Each one processes customer data only to provide its service to us.
Kipwise is hosted on Amazon Web Services: workspaces in our US region in us-east-1 (N. Virginia, United States), and workspaces in our EU region in eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, Germany).

AI answers in the web app
Only for workspaces where Kipwise has turned on AI answers. In those workspaces, pages, including pages saved from Slack, are indexed for AI answers. The Kipwise Wiki app for Slack itself calls no AI model.

Kipwise Agent
In addition to the providers above, for workspaces that use Kipwise Agent.

| Amazon Web Services (Bedrock) | The AI models that write the agent’s replies. Run in the workspace’s region: the United States for US workspaces, the EU for EU workspaces. Web search for EU workspaces is run in the United States and receives only the search query. |
| Anthropic | The Claude AI models that write the agent’s replies, used through Amazon Web Services Bedrock. |
| OpenAI | Image generation, only when someone asks the agent to make an image. Also delivers the answer to ChatGPT when Kipwise Agent is used from ChatGPT. |
| E2B | Isolated sandbox when the agent runs code. |
| GitHub | Error reports with ids and error text, no message text. |
Services you connect
When you connect Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Confluence, Dropbox, Zendesk, Gmail, Notion or another tool, Kipwise reads from it and writes to it at your request, with your own permissions. These are third parties you direct us to use. They are not our sub-processors.
Platforms
Kipwise Agent runs inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. They carry your messages and the agent’s answers under their own terms, and are not our sub-processors.
Where this runs
A workspace is in one region and its data stays there, except as marked in the tables: AI answers (Google Cloud, Qdrant Cloud and the model provider) are processed in the United States for all workspaces, and web search for EU Kipwise Agent workspaces runs in the United States. Cloudflare, Stripe and the other global providers run in their own locations. See the Privacy Policy and GDPR pages.
