monday.com + Kipwise Agent
Search boards and items, create and update them, and post updates from Slack, as you. Every change waits for your approval, under your own monday.com account.
Ask in Slack, get it done in monday.com
Kipwise Agent works in monday.com as each person, through their own connection. Every change shows an Approve card first.
- Search boards, items, docs and updates.
- Read a board with its items and filter them by status, person, due date or text.
- See what is assigned to you across boards.
- Read one item with its subitems, updates and files, read monday docs and see a board’s recent activity.
- Create items and subitems with values: a status by its label, people by name, dates.
- Change values, rename an item, or move it to a group or another board.
- Archive or delete an item. It asks first and names the item.
- Post updates and replies with @mentions.
- Create boards with groups and columns, and change them.
- Create a monday doc or add to one, and attach a file from the Slack thread or a picture it made.
Ask in your own words
- “What’s assigned to me across our boards?”
- “Create an item on the Launch board for each action from this thread, with an owner and a due date.”
- “Show me what is overdue on the Launch board.”
- “Post an update on the Acme item and @mention Dana: contract signed.”
monday automation from Slack
Ask once, in a sentence: “whenever a new item is added to the Launch board, post it here.” You approve it, and later runs post in the same conversation. It can start when:
- a new item is added to a board
- an item’s status changes
- someone is assigned
- someone posts an update
- an item moves to another group
- an item is archived or deleted
- a subitem is added
Each automation watches one board. Schedules work too: “every Friday at 9, post what is overdue on the Launch board.”

FAQs
Access, approvals and pricing for the monday.com connection.
Does it act as me in monday.com?
Yes. Each person connects their own monday.com account from Slack by pressing Connect, and Kipwise Agent works as that person.
Who installs it?
A monday.com admin installs the Kipwise Agent app once for the account. The agent sends the install link in Slack when it is needed. After that, each person connects their own account.
Does it change anything without asking?
No. Every change shows an Approve card first. Before it archives or deletes an item, it asks and names the item.
Can it notify Slack when a board changes?
Yes. Ask for an automation, such as “whenever a new item is added to the Launch board, post it here.” It can start when an item is added, a status changes, someone is assigned, someone posts an update, an item moves to another group, an item is archived or deleted, or a subitem is added. One board per automation.
What can it read?
Boards and their items, which you can filter by status, person, due date or text. It also reads one item with its subitems, updates and files, monday docs and a board’s recent activity. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files are read, and pictures are shown.
What does it cost?
Kipwise Agent is a separate paid add-on: $10 per user per month or $108 per user per year (USD, excluding tax), with a three-user minimum. It works with any Kipwise plan. See Kipwise pricing.
